One of my devotionals was published not long ago, and something wonderful happened: I got feedback! Yes, I got feedback, and not just from one person, but from a number of readers. How great is that? Well, in my books, it's pretty great. Why? Because when I receive positive, encouraging, uplifting, grateful feedback from those who have received instruction through the Word that God has blessed me with, to share with them, I want to turn around and write even more devotionals, so that more people can be encouraged and uplifted and blessed. What a wonderful cycle that creates, which is probably why God instructed the apostle Paul to pen today's Scripture:

Galatians 6:6 – Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. (NIV)

God's Word is able to accomplish great things in our lives, and when it does, God wants us to praise Him. He also wants us to share the results with the one who shared the Word with us in the first place, so that the messenger, too, will then praise Him. This, in turn, encourages those who share the Word to keep on sharing it so that God can just keep on doing more and more wonderful things in people's lives through His Word.

So today, let's all of us take a moment to consider an instructor, whose instruction in the Word has brought about good things in our life, and share those good results with them. Perhaps, it may be a pastor, a parent or a grandparent, a neighbour or a friend, a television evangelist or a teacher, an employer or an employee, a spouse, or even a child. Whoever it may be, taking the time to share what God has done through them in your life through the Word that they shared with you will help to keep the wonderful cycle of godly instruction and praise going and growing and going and growing. And what a wonderful thing that would be!

Prayer: Father God, how wonderful is the gift of Your Word and the sharing of it with others. Bless us this day with hearts and words of gratitude toward all those who have taken the time to instruct us in the Scriptures, that in due time, all good things may come to fruition through it. In Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
