1 Corinthians 14:25 – And the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you." (NIV)

The sky was the most elegant blue I have ever seen. Our church building is located just on the edge of our city, surrounded by trees and farmers' fields. As I looked down the road in the distance, I saw the homes, the beginning edge of our city. With the sun in the sky and birds in the air, I began to worship — only this time, it was not in the church building, but in the church parking lot. Another individual, who was not able to go inside, and I, found ourselves basking in the sweet, sweet sound of the worship being offered to the Lord on this Sunday morning, for the music was coming out of the open windows of this small white building. It was not long before we both found ourselves worshipping in song. As joggers and people on bikes passed by on the dirt road, we continued to praise our Lord and Saviour at the top of our lungs.

Many things went through my mind that Sunday afternoon as I reflected on this most precious time we had had in the Lord. Most compelling, though, was the thought of the two people on bikes and the joggers who went by during this time. I don't know their situations, but the Lord does — He knows all our situations. I cannot imagine now being outside of the Lord's love for me. Many people do not know His love, and we are called to disciple them. I have been praying to the Lord for those unknown people and others like them. Ever since this experience on that recent Sunday, I have more life in my prayers.

Revelation 15:4 – Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. (NIV)

Prayer: Dear Lord, touch each of us in a new way, and show us how to reach the lost. We want to finish strong in You, and we anxiously await the day when all nations will come and worship before You. We thank You that we are free to worship You openly today. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
