For the past three years I have been at a station where I am the only employee of my company present. It is nice sometimes to be alone, because I can do what I want. I work at my own pace and do things pretty much on my own. It is important, though, for me to remember that I am not alone and I do not work alone. I am part of a company. I count on many other people who are not here at my site to help me. So while it may seem I am alone, I have a network of people to help me accomplish a great many tasks which I would not be able to do alone. I am only one person and can only do so much in a day.

I think it is also important for us as Christians to remember that we are not alone, but that we are part of a family. When working in a ministry, we must not think we can do it all ourselves. Instead, we need the help of our brothers and sisters. Just as Moses' hands grew tired, we also grow tired. We need others to help lift us up in our task for God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may we not try to do it all ourselves. We pray, as brothers and sisters in your family, that we will be there for one another, to help hold each other up, so that your will may be done. In Jesus' name. Amen.
