Psalm 51:7 – Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. (KJV)

It is snowing again today. Each white flake that is falling is intricately different from every other. Each one is a perfectly designed work of art. The snowflakes remind me of how God has created each one of us very differently, yet He designed us as He planned.

As the flakes spread a white blanket over the driveway, I am reminded of what happens when we receive Jesus into our lives. Our sins are forgiven, and we become as white as snow. When Jesus died on the cross, He sacrificed His life for you and for me, to forgive our sins. His life gave us new life in Him.

The blanket of snow also reminds me of how God covers us with His unconditional love for us.

Prayer: Gracious and compassionate are You, O God. Even though we wander away from You, You are there to take us back into Your loving arms. You remember our sins no more and bathe us with Your love. Amen.
