John 17:14 – I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

Someone has written concerning Jesus:

His birth was contrary to the laws of nature — He was born of the Virgin Mary.

His life was lived contrary to others — He always sought to serve and desired not to have others minister unto Him.

His death was contrary to the laws of the nation — for it was a false trial.

He had no corn fields or fisheries — yet He could feed over five thousand at one time and from a few loaves of bread and a few fish.

He walked on no beautiful carpets or velvet rugs — yet He walked on the sea of Galilee.

He ended up being killed — yet, He brought life to all.

Every effort on my part to encourage you to really permit Jesus Christ to be Lord of your life is energy well expended.

One of the earliest and most simple of the creeds of the church stated, "Christ is Lord."

Your believing and yielding to this truth will lead to the abundant life for you and yours. He will heal you now.

Prayer: Father, may I spare no energy or effort to remain faithful and loyal to Your Son, Jesus. Amen.
