Ephesians 4:31-32 – Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another, tender-hearted and forgiving one another as God in Christ has forgiven you.

Have you ever seen the painting called 'The Last Supper"? Do you know the inside story?

One day Leonardo da Vinci became angry with a man while painting this picture. He lashed out with cruel words.

When he tried to get back to work, he attempted to brush some very delicate lines on the face of Jesus. He was so angry he couldn't concentrate. Finally, he left his paint brush and paints and went to look for the man. He told him he was sorry for losing his temper and saying such things. Only after he made things right with his neighbour was he able to go back and finish the face of Jesus.

"Go, and do likewise."

Prayer: Dear God, you know we get angry sometimes. Forgive us for saying and doing things that hurt each other. Help us to learn to control our anger. Show us how to be more gentle and loving. In Jesus' name. Amen.
