Ephesians 4:1-4 – I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called… making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.

I'm in Brazil today. I have to say that slowly because I'm a real small-town Canadian boy and this is that "trip of a lifetime" you hear people talk about. I'm joining hundreds of committed Christians from around the world and we are here because we have been "Called to one Hope". We come in all colours of the rainbow and all creeds of the Christian faith and all cultures of the continents, and we are here because of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We don't have any human language to bridge the gap except the language of the God of love.

You may not be in Brazil today, but you will encounter Christians from many cultures, many different expressions of the one Gospel, many ways of expressing one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all. Don't miss the opportunity to be enriched in your faith and renewed in your hope by sharing with another.
